Meet the Midwife

           Ann Hintz, CPM, LM

Ann is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and Minnesota/South Dakota Licensed Midwife (LM). She has been involved in expecting families care since 2013 as a friend, doula, birthing assistant, and primary midwife.

She started her clinical training in 2014 at a free standing birth center in Appleton, Wisconsin. In 2016, she moved to New Hampshire to gain even more experience under the supervision of a blended group of clinicians including both Certified Professional Midwives (CPM's) and Certified- Nurse Midwives (CNM's). She went on to attend a formal Midwifery Education and Accreditation Council (MEAC) program through Birthwise Midwifery School in Bridgton, Maine. It is a program specifically geared to train midwives who care for women who seek to birth at home and receive care in a non-hospital setting.

When not supporting families, Ann can be found spending time out and about attending local community events with her hubby Matt. She enjoys trying different  spicy foods, music, dancing, summer, going on adventures, tea, chocolate, and learning new skills.
